Filtration Plants
Filtration plants are large-scale centralized facilities responsible for treating raw water from sources like rivers, lakes, or aquifers to make it safe for public consumption. They are the backbone of municipal water supply. The process typically involves several stages: coagulation/flocculation to clump particles, sedimentation to let them settle, filtration through layers of sand and gravel to remove remaining particulates, and finally, disinfection (using chlorine, UV, or ozone) to kill pathogens.
